Publication rates:
The minimum rates paid for contributions to Island are: Poems $60, short stories $100, articles and reviews $100 per 1000 words.
Submissions must be typed with double spacing, preferably on A4 paper with letter-quality print rather than dot matrix. Please write on only one side of the page, with a wide margin at left and right, and with a name and address on each page.
Manuscripts must be accompanied by a stamped self-addressed envelope. No responsibility can be accepted for the loss or damage of any contribution, although every care is taken.

Within Australia: Individuals $46, (Concession $29), Institutions $57.
Overseas: Individuals $60, Institutions $70
